Rocket League Going Free-To-Play September 23 With A Fortnite Crossover

<p dir="ltr">Five years into its lengthy lifespan, <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/games/rocket-league/">Rocket League</a> is <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/rocket-league-goes-freetoplay-this-summer/1100-6479939/">going free-to-play later this month</a>, and both it and <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/games/fortnite/">Fortnite</a> are hosting a special event to celebrate, Llama-Rama. Players will need to connect their Rocket League to an Epic Games account and specify their primary platform, which will allow them to play with their competitive rank and progression on connected platforms.</p><p dir="ltr">Additionally, the update will add Epic's Support-A-Creator feature to the game, which allows an accepted Creator to earn 5% of credits spent on the game by that player while using their code. The Endo and Jager starter packs are also coming to the game, under the Bundle tab of the item shop, along with joinable competitive tournaments and a new Rocket Pass.
