Community guidelines
SickGaming forum rules
We want SickGaming to be a relaxed place where people can talk, play, and
help each other out. These rules keep the community enjoyable for
everyone.

The short version: respect other members, post
responsibly, use one account, do not advertise competing communities,
and keep adult or harmful content off the site. When in doubt, use
common sense.
The rules
Please take a minute to read these before posting. Most of them come
down to being considerate of the people around you.

Respect the people behind the screen
Do not threaten, flame, harass, or target other members with racism,
sexism, bigotry, or sexual harassment. Dark humor is welcome when
everyone is in on the joke, but do not use it as an excuse to attack
someone. Threats involving stolen accounts, doxxing, or swatting are
never acceptable. This applies everywhere on SickGaming, including
posts, private messages, and profiles.

Check each forum's specific rules
Some sections have extra rules in their header. Give those a quick
read before starting a thread so your post does not need to be moved
or removed.

Do not spam or double post
Avoid repeated low-quality posts, unnecessary thread bumps, and
posting the same message more than once. Accounts created to
mass-advertise or flood the forum will be banned.

Do not advertise competing communities
Please do not promote gaming forums that directly compete with
SickGaming. Sites without forums and forums unrelated to gaming are
generally fine. This rule applies to posts, signatures, profiles, and
private messages.

Do not advertise Discord servers
You may share your personal Discord username, but please do not
advertise or post links to Discord servers or channels.

Use one account
Please do not create multiple accounts. The only exception is making a
temporary account to tell us that your original account was hacked.
Ban evasion will result in both the old and new accounts being
permanently closed.

Keep adult content off the site
We are a gaming community, not an adult-content site. Do not post
adult images or links, and do not buy, sell, or trade adult accounts.

Do not share harmful or illegal material
Malware, phishing pages, malicious links, stolen data, and
instructions intended to compromise another person or system are not
allowed. Deliberately putting members at risk may result in an
immediate ban.

Use common sense
If something is clearly disruptive, harmful, or unfair to other
members, do not do it just because it is not spelled out word for
word. Be decent to people and you will fit in just fine.
How the warning system works
Rule violations may add warning points to your account. The table
below shows the standard amount and how long those points remain
active. Active points contribute to your overall warning level, and
reaching a threshold can automatically restrict your account. Please
ask a staff member if you are unsure why a warning was issued.
