News - Fortnite Adding Peak Skins That Will Probably Cost More Than Peak Itself
Another popular indie title is crossing over with Fortnite, with skins based on Aggro Crab and Landfall's social climbing game Peak coming to the Fortnite Shop this week.
Aggro Crab announced the collaboration in a YouTube short, which shows four scouts from Peak with Fortnite-character proportions--it looks like these scouts have grown taller after consuming so many berries and hot dogs. The video announces that the Peak bundle releases on March 21.
While the video doesn't include any pricing details, it's safe to predict that purchasing the Peak bundle would cost more than buying Peak itself, which is only $8 USD. That's especially true with the price hike for Fortnite's in-game currency, V-Bucks. As of the start of Chapter 7 Season 2, players have to shell out $9 for 800 V-Bucks, $23 for 2,400 V-Bucks, $37 for 4,500 V-Bucks, or $90 for 12,500 V-Bucks.

News - Arc Raiders Dev Co-Founder Leaves Embark Studios After Sexual Misconduct Accu
Arc Raiders and The Finals developer Embark Studios has announced the departure of co-founder and CCO Rob Runesson after he faced allegations of sexual misconduct towards a female streamer who frequently played The Finals. Although Embark notes that an outside investigation didn't substantiate the accusations, Runesson and the company have "mutually agreed to part ways," as shared in a statement to IGN.
The original accusations were shared on Reddit and other forums, in which a third party claimed that Runesson pressured an unnamed female streamer into having a romantic and sexual relationship. The accuser contends that the streamer felt uncomfortable with the topic, but was unable to push back because her streams of The Finals made her financially dependent on being able to continue doing them.
IGN reached the female streamer in question, who declined to answer any questions on the record. The only thing she did say is that the allegations noted above were presented in a misleading way or out of context. Beyond that, no further details were shared.
