Brace Yourself Games Releases “Small Bug Fix” For Cadence Of Hyrule
If you’re still dancing to the rhythm of the beat weeks after the release of Cadence of Hyrule, you’ll be pleased to hear a new update for the game is now available. While the game was actually updated to version 1.0.1. last week, it wasn’t until a few days later the patch notes were discovered over on the Brace Yourself Games Discord channel.
While it’s not much, it’s always nice to see a developer ironing out game bugs to enhance the overall experience.
We had a small bug fix update for Cadence of Hyrule yesterday, containing:
fixed a crash that could occur after dying in Permadeath Mode (or Daily Challenge)
fixed an issue that could place wind turbine crates in front of doors in dungeons, blocking progression
More “bug fixes” will be released in the future.

Niantic Teases Team Rocket For Pokémon GO With A Real-Life Hot Air Balloon
With the game’s latest update, data miners discovered evidence of a potential Team Rocket and ‘Shadow Pokémon’ appearance in Pokémon GO. Since then, developer Niantic has teased the iconic evildoers through its AR photo mode and artwork, but this latest stunt is the biggest tease so far.
During Pokémon GO Fest in Dortmund, Germany – an event hosted by Niantic which has drawn in players from all over the world – a hot air balloon featuring Team Rocket’s letter ‘R’ logo was spotted, most likely acting as a nod to the Meowth-shaped balloon that Jessie and James use in the franchise’s anime series. Eurogamer reports that players in attendance were encouraged to gather for an event photo when it flew overhead.
So what does this all mean? Well, the data mined evidence suggests that there will a new achievement relating to battle encounters with Team Rocket grunts and that you’ll be tasked with purifying the aforementioned Shadow Pokémon. Several monsters have reportedly been given Shadow versions according to the data, but it would be wise to wait until Niantic officially releases the new content before getting too excited over the possibilities.
It was also recently confirmed that Armoured Mewtwo would be appearing in Raid Battles for a limited time.
A decent way to add something new and fresh to the game? Are you excited to see Team Rocket appear? Let us know in the comments below.

Zachtronics games are now free for public schools and educational nonprofits
The team at Zachtronics have launched a new initiative that allows public schools and “school-like” nonprofits to request free licenses for Zachtronics games that will be used for teaching purposes.
Dubbed Zachademics, this new program is a nice gesture that comes with some important caveats. Organizations who request game licenses are expected to explain how they’re going to be used and where they’ll be installed, and home schools and private/for-profit schools are not eligible (though the latter can request discounts).
Zachtronics also acknowledges that its games (including Opus Magnum, TIS-100, andExapunks[pictured]) are not designed as teaching tools, and advises educators to spend some time playing them before introducing them to young minds.
For more details on which Zachtronics games are eligible and how to apply, check out the Zachademics website.

Xbox Game Pass PC And Xbox One Early July Lineup Announced
Xbox has announced its next two batches of games included with its all-you-can-eat Game Pass subscription service. The announcement covers games coming over the next two weeks, and once again it lists the games as coming to console, PC, or both.
Xbox Game Pass is available separately on PC and console for $10 apiece, but you can also get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $15, which includes Xbox Live Gold. You can still get a good deal on the combined package if you happen to have some existing Gold or Game Pass time. Gold also includes its own rotating free games, which this month includes Inside and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Some games will also be exiting the service in July as the library rotates. Some notable departures include Warhammer Vermintide 2, Dead Rising 2, and Hitman Season 1. Check below for the full list with dates.
