Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League developer Rocksteady has announced that the Epic Games Store release date of the game has been delayed from February 2 to March 5. Other platforms--Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and the Steam PC release--remain unaffected.

"The release for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on the Epic Games Store is now March 5, 2024," Rocksteady wrote in its Discord channel. Anyone who has preordered the game through the Epic Games Store will have their order canceled and will be directly refunded. There have been several delays for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League since it was first announced, with the most notable one being a nine-month setback beyond its planned release date of May 2023.

Development has been proceeding more smoothly since then, as a closed technical alpha test went live last month and Rocksteady announced plans to introduce a post-launch offline mode for the game. The studio has also cautioned fans to be wary of spoilers online, as major plot details have begun circulating.

News - The MCU Should Replace Jonathan Majors' Kang With Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Ravonna R

Jonathan Majors, who had been positioned to play the next main villain of the biggest movie franchise of all time, was convicted of assault and harassment on Monday, and about an hour after that verdict came down, Marvel Studios fired him. Thus ends a year of uncertainty during which the Marvel Cinematic Universe has cratered both creatively and in terms of audience interest (link to something), and which resulted in the whole MCU slate being delayed a year while the powers-that-be try to get it together.

Without Majors, the big immediate question is easy: What is Marvel going to do with Kang the Conqueror, who was supposed to be the Thanos of this era of the MCU? The easiest option is to just recast the role, which they've done before with Terrence Howard and Ed Norton in the franchise's early days. Majors has thus far only appeared in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania--a movie that's proven to be pretty unpopular--and the two seasons of Loki. That's more screen time than Howard or Norton had in the one movie they each appeared in, but not too much more. I doubt audiences have gotten overly attached to Majors at this point.

If Marvel wants to go the recasting route, it would probably be fine--or it wouldn't be any worse than the current status quo, at least. But I have a different idea that Marvel may well have already set in motion: It's time for Ravonna Renslayer to step into the spotlight.

News - WoW: Dragonflight Will Receive Warbands, New Heritage Armor Quests Ahead Of T

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will receive three more content updates ahead of the arrival of the MMORPG's next expansion, The War Within, in the summer of 2024.

That's according to Blizzard's 2024 content roadmap for WoW, which outlines what players can expect to be coming both to the current version of the MMO and the various versions of WoW Classic Blizzard is now running simultaneously.

Dragonflight's Seeds of Renewal update will be coming in January, adding the ability to run dungeons with NPC companions and bringing Dragonflight's dragonriding to all of Azeroth. The game's 10.2.6 patch is a mystery, but is marked on the roadmap by an ominous skull and crossbones. Then, in the spring, Dragonflight Season 4 will kick off, with Blizzard retooling Dragonflight's existing raids in a way likely similar to that of Shadowlands Season 4 while also introducing new open-world rewards.
