Rocksteady Issues New Full Statement On Harassment Allegations
Rocksteady, the studio behind a Suicide Squad game that is set to be revealed this weekend at DC Fandome, has released a new statement regarding recent allegations made against the company. This latest statement differs from the previous two in that it's much longer, and is written on behalf of the company itself instead of from some of its staff.
The company received a collective letter from several female employees complaining of a culture of harassment in 2018. The statement posted to Twitter says it took that letter as a call to action. It outlines the steps the company took in response to that complaint, from meeting with female employees to investigating misconduct to inviting feedback on the behavior and portrayal of female characters.
It also says it has tapped an independent third party to speak with female employees in case any have been hesitant to come forward to their employer, and it will be encouraging other employees who left over the last few years to speak to the third-party organization as well.
Company of Heroes charges on to Android and iPhone on September 10
Feral Interactive has announced that the world war II game, Company of Heroes, is making the jump to Android and iPhone on September 10. The classic RTS game landed on iPad earlier this year, and received pretty favourable reviews – read our very own Company of Heroes review for our thoughts! Here’s some more info about the release from Feral Interactive:
“CompanyofHeroes offers players an epic WWII campaign, with gameplay comprised of intense squad-based battles that progress from the D-Day landings through to the liberation of Normandy. Designed for phones, this version of the game allows mobile gamers to direct all the action from a user interface highly tailored to touch controls.”
Sounds like lots of fun to us! Company of Heroes is, of course, a premium game, and is going to set you back $13.99 (£13.99) when it launches on September 10. Either way, this port feels long overdue, and is especially exciting for Android users – like me – who are finally going get a chance to experience the classic RTS game on mobile.
Feral has also released a trailer with some gameplay footage, in case you want to watch:

We also got a list of suitable Android devices for running the game, so if you’ve got one of these, you’re in luck:

Multi-boss battles – fight multiple bosses from the story mode at the same time.
Three new pilots with unique jets and handling.

The update has just gone live for players on Steam, with the Switch version of the update to follow. Hopefully we won’t have long to wait – the team tells us that it’ll arrive “soon” and is currently pending approval from Nintendo.

Ninjala Dev Issues Second Ban Warning To Mischievous Players
Ninjala developer GungHo Entertainment has issued another warning to its players today, saying that those who “repeatedly exit the Matching Lobby after entering” could see their accounts be banned or suspended if their actions are deemed to be malicious.
The company has published a statement to its official website, notifying fans that it is aware of “a number of cases” in which players have been caught in the act after receiving user feedback. This new message comes just days after the company warned players about “repeatedly idling” and engaging in “unsportsmanlike behaviour”, which are apparently “strictly prohibited by the Ninjala Terms of Service”.
Here’s the full statement:
Thank you for playing Ninjala.
At the present time, we have confirmed a number of cases in which players repeatedly exit the Matching Lobby after entering. We have also received considerable user feedback regarding this behavior.
The Ninjala team is aware of some of the reasons behind this behavior, and is working toward fundamentally resolving the situation in a future update.
We promise to do everything in our power to address the underlying issue. At the same time, the act of intentionally and repeatedly exiting the matching lobby and cancelling matching is one that greatly inconveniences other players, and we therefore ask that players not engage in this behavior.
Furthermore, be aware that the Ninjala team is consistently monitoring player reports and logs. If any such actions are deemed to be malicious, we reserve the right to institute matching bans or suspend accounts in accordance with the Ninjala Terms of Service.
The Ninjala team will continue to do everything to ensure a fair and enjoyable game environment for all players. Should you encounter any issues or trouble within the game, please do not hesitate to submit feedback to us via the inquiry form.
We hope you will continue to enjoy Ninjala.
The warnings might sound a little harsh, but it’s probably for the best that the developer is hoping to keep the game as fun as possible for those who want to take part.
Have you been playing Ninjala? Have you come across any other players who have caused a nuisance, or have you been having a smooth time? Tell us below.
Fall Guys Season 2 Teased, Will Be Revealed During Gamescom
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout doesn't feature a traditional battle pass in terms of cost and in-game challenges, but it does have a select rotation of costumes that have made up its first season since launch. Developer Mediatonic is already gearing up to reveal what will be part of Season 2 next week.
Teased by Geoff Keighley and taking place at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, Mediatonic will be revealing Season 2 content for Fall Guys with a brand-new trailer. The tease doesn't suggest what the new season might entail or whether its content is restricted to just new costumes. Since launch, Falls Guys has received a new finale mode and tweaks to multiple game modes, so new game types might not be out of the question.
Costumes have already started leaking ahead of the reveal, which might give us a glimpse of some Season 2 content. Costume crossovers with My Friend Pedro and Portal have already been leaked. A recent update has also brought over numerous PC-exclusive costumes to PS4, many of which have been associated to Valve games. It could mean that previously assumed exclusivity might no longer be an issue for Season 2, either.

This article collects various ways to decode an URL encoded string. Let’s get started!
Python 2
$ alias urldecode='python -c "import sys, urllib as ul; \ print ul.unquote_plus(sys.argv[1])"' $ alias urlencode='python -c "import sys, urllib as ul; \ print ul.quote_plus(sys.argv[1])"'
urlencode() { local length="${#1}" for (( i = 0; i < length; i++ )); do local c="${1:i:1}" case $c in [a-zA-Z0-9.~_-]) printf "$c" ;; *) printf "$c" | xxd -p -c1 | while read x;do printf "%%%s" "$x";done esac
done
}
If you run Python 3 on your system (like most people would), use the alternative function urllib.parse.unquote. To check your version, visit this article.

There has been a lot of changes as Jeb and the rest of Mojang Studios work on the changes for combat in Minecraft. Your feedback is important and is very much appreciated. At the bottom of this post will be a link for the original reddit post containing this information and more, so be sure to check it out as well.
Features that have been changed back:
Returned the attack indicator
Returned the “200% time” attacks (let’s call them “charged” attacks) and the +1 reach bonus
Returned sweeping to only work for charged attacks and when having the Sweeping enchantment
Returned base reach to 2.5 blocks
Removed the bow inaccuracy for holding too long
Removed the eating interruption for getting hit
Features that have been adjusted:
Missed attacks are still fast, but they don’t count as charged. Because of how the programming code is laid out it meant I had to change how the auto-attack “penalty” is applied. Instead of being 20% slower, they add a hard-coded single tick to the attack rate (i.e. after a miss you can optimally attack again after 4 ticks, or after 5 ticks when holding the attack)
Shields now add a 50% knockback resistance when active
Shields are now always instant
Shields protect against 100% explosion damage
You won’t get the reach bonus while you are crouching (to add a slight disadvantage to shielding and attacking simultaneously)
Bug fixes:
Netherite weapons have updated stats
Using shields while crouching is now no longer desynchronized when attacking air
Players in spectator mode can no longer sweep in the air
Knockback attribute no longer have a random chance to completely prevent knockback
Fixed player speed bug for crouching vs using shield
