Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3.0 Update Adds Nice New Smartphone Features

<p><a href="https://www.gamespot.com/super-smash-bros-ultimate/">Super Smash Bros. Ultimate</a> is getting a big update on April 17 (April 18 in Europe). In addition to launching a new paid DLC character, <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/smash-bros-ultimate-30-update-adds-stage-builder-v/1100-6466312/">Joker</a>, the update adds a <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/how-smash-bros-ultimates-new-stage-builder-and-vid/1100-6466313/">stage-builder and video editor</a>. That's not all. The update also makes changes to the Smash World hub on the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app.</p><p>With the new update, players will be able to take a look at new user-made videos and custom stages that the community creates using the video editor and stage builder. Perhaps the best thing about the update is that you'll be able to view community-created stages and then click a button to queue them up to download on your home console. What's more, stages can be rated, so theoretically the best ones should surface to the top.</p><div data-embed-type="video" data-src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmuTGcbu4Kc" data-width="100%" data-height="100%"><iframe src="//cdn.embedly.com/widgets/media.html?src=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fembed%2FFmuTGcbu4Kc%3Fwmode%3Dopaque%26feature%3Doembed&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DFmuTGcbu4Kc&amp;image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ytimg.com%2Fvi%2FFmuTGcbu4Kc%2Fhqdefault.jpg&amp;key=6efca6e5ad9640f180f14146a0bc1392&amp;type=text%2Fhtml&amp;schema=youtube" width="100%" height="100%" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe></div><p>The Nintendo Switch Online app, which requires a paid subscription, also allows players to use voice chat.
