The Batman TV Spin-Off's Showrunner Quits
<p>A TV spin-off from Matt Reeves' upcoming DC movie <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/the-batman-everything-we-know-about-matt-reeves-up/2900-3482/">The Batman</a> was <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/gotham-city-tv-show-set-in-matt-reeves-the-batman-/1100-6479580/">first announced in July</a>, with Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter set to be showrunner and main writer. However, it's now been reported that Winter has quit the show.</p><p>According to <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/terence-winter-exits-the-batman-tv-spinoff-at-hbo-max-exclusive?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter">The Hollywood Reporter</a>, Winter has left the HBO Max series because his "vision for the drama did not match what Reeves and other producers had in mind." The site states that producers are now looking for a replacement showrunner.
