A Twitter user has shared a story about Nintendo repairing a Wii U that had a missing wedding ring lodged in it.

User @sam_nama explains how their daughter put the ring in it – treating the system as if it was a piggy bank. Obviously, it didn’t work out and the console had to be sent to Nintendo for repair.

WiiU修理に出したら無くした結婚指輪出てきた pic.twitter.com/k1Lg7Rvkoh— ぐでさむ(生) (@sam_nama) December 19, 2020

Upon return, it was discovered Nintendo had gone to the extent of cleaning the ring. How considerate! The Wii U was fixed, too. So, there you go – another funny Nintendo repair story. We’re just glad to hear the ring has been reunited with its owner.
