Atlus showed off an exciting new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio during Summer Game Fest. If you haven't preordered your copy of the upcoming RPG, you can get bonuses or even a collector's edition (while supplies last). If you're a longtime Atlus fan, the collector's edition will likely appeal to you, as it celebrates 35 years of Atlus history.
The studio has been on fire lately with its Persona games and various other entries in the JRPG genre, and its next title, Metaphor: ReFantazio, has an official release date of October 11 locked in. With development being led by several Persona veterans--including director Katsura Hashino, who has led the Persona franchise through its most successful era so far--this could be the start of a major new franchise for Atlus and its publisher, Sega. Metaphor: ReFantazio preorders are live now at major retailers. If you're interested in picking up the collector's edition, you'll want to act fast. Though the PS5 version is currently sold out at all retailers, you can preorder the Xbox Series X edition at Best Buy, Walmart, or GameStop.
Though initially believed to only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X, the collector's edition is now available to preorder for PC at Amazon. It will sell out quickly, so order it while you can (June 11).
