Monster Hunter Rise Revealed For Nintendo Switch
<p>A brand-new Monster Hunter is coming to Switch. During a <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-direct-mini-announced-will-showcase-upcoming-switch-games-from-partners/1100-6482231/">Nintendo Direct Mini</a>, the company premiered the trailer for Capcom's Monster Hunter Rise. It's coming March 26, 2021 alongside <a href="https://www.gamespot.com/articles/monster-hunter-rise-is-getting-its-own-amiibo-figures/1100-6482303/">its own set of Amiibo figures</a>.</p><p>A trailer showed the hero using grapple points to navigate around the open world and facing a series of fearsome beasts. You have a dog or wolf-like companion that you can use as a mount, and the characters were notably heard with English voiceover. An elder character warns of a calamity from a monster called Magnamalo, which appears to be the big-bad of this Monster Hunter.</p><p>Capcom promises a "story-based RPG experience" where you assume control of a new Monster Rider.
