Solatorobo Developer Open To The Idea Of Remaking Nintendo DS Exclusive
Reflect on the Nintendo DS generation and you might remember the system exclusive Solatorobo: Red the Hunter. The action-RPG by CyberConnect2 was well-received across all regions but only sold around 100,000 copies worldwide.
Is there a chance of the game ever getting a remake, though? CyberConnect2 boss Hiroshi Matsuyama was recently asked about this at a Q&A not long ago and said he was open to the idea. The main issue would be working out how to operate the game on a newer system that may not necessarily support the touch panel design of Solatorobo. Here’s the transcript, courtesy of Nintendo Everything:
Of course, the possibility is there. As you know, Solaroboto was a game exclusively released on Nintendo DS. You all remember, right? Nintendo DS had two screens. The top screen was the play screen and the bottom one a touch panel.
On the operational side of things, it will be quite hard to port the game without a hardware that supports this system. It is possible to rebuild the touch panel system of Solatorobo, and integrate the bottom screen into a single screen, but would call for a complete remake. I feel that this would bring its own set of difficulties.
Matsuyama went onto state how “a lot” at CyberConnect2 would like to re-release the company’s games made during the DS and 3DS generation, but at the same time would be more likely to “start over from scratch” in the case of Solatorobo.
I personally think that, not only for our title Solatorobo, but also for a lot of other games that were made for the Nintendo DS and 3DS, a lot of us would like to re-release, whether just a downloadable version, an HD remastered version of these games, so that our current customers could play with our past properties, but at this time, I don’t think the industry is aiming for that goal yet. If we were to remake Solatorobo, we would start over from scratch.

Awesome PC Games Bundle Lets You Choose What You Want To Keep
Humble Monthly is no more, and in its place comes Humble Choice, a new monthly subscription that lets you choose which games you want from a selection of 10. If you held an active subscription to Humble Monthly when the transition to Humble Choice occurred, then you get all 10 games for the same monthly fee.
The first 10 games from Humble Choice have been revealed. They include Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Blasphemous, and Phantom Doctrine, in addition to seven others. If you were converted to the $12 USD/month Classic plan, then you don't need to make any choice: you get all 10. You can see a list of the games in the list below.
If you're a new subscriber to Humble Choice, then you'll have to pay more money for fewer games depending on your plan. Premium costs $20/month and gets you nine of these games, while Basic comes in at $15/month with only three games. Each subscription comes with additional benefits, such as a library of DRM-free games, access to Humble Originals, and a store discount--the $5/month Lite plan gets you some of these benefits with no games. You can learn more about these plans at Humble.
If you're already a Humble Choice subscriber, you have until December 27 to unlock your choices. At that point, you'll be charged for the month and sent your games. If you want to cancel before then, you can do that on Humble's website. However, you can unlock your games and start playing now, but once you do so, you'll be charged.
Video: Legend Of Zelda Fan Spends 24 Hours In Ocarina Of Time VR
We’ve seen 24-hour gaming marathons before, but this particular story is slightly different. A YouTuber by the name of SwankyBox, who is said to be a “huge” fan of the Nintendo 64 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, recently cut himself off from the real world and spent hours exploring the 64-bit land of Hyrule – while working his way through dungeons, watching the sunset (in-game, of course) and scouting out a safe and quiet spot to sleep in order to get a good night’s rest.
In case you’re wondering, this VR experience is running on a modified version of the original Nintendo 64 game. While it’s certainly not perfect, it was enough to get the job done – as he was even able to do push-ups on the top of Death Mountain (what an experience!). He also took some time to see what it was like to ride Epona and fish in VR. Take a look below:
While we wouldn’t recommend trying this out, if you are interested in getting up close with the land of Hyrule, you can always try out Nintendo’s official Labo VR support in the Switch title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. That’s if you can handle it for more than a few minutes.
What do you think of this VR experiment? Would you want to live in Hyrule for 24 hours? Comment down below.

Battlefield 5 Adds Wake Island Map Next Week
Battlefield 5 will bring back the Wake Island map just in time for the holidays. The map is one of the most popular in the franchise, having debuted in Battlefield 1942. It will make its appearance in the latest Battlefield with an update coming December 12 as part of the latest Tides of War update.
The Wake Island map will be familiar to anyone who's played it throughout the series' history, since it's now appeared across multiple games, but the Battlefield 5 version is prettied up and includes the new fortification feature. You can play on the map in both Breakthrough and Conquest Assault modes.
DICE has shared a few Wake Island tips and tidbits of info as well, to make the most out of your tropical assault. It notes that in Breakthrough mode, attackers get tanks in the first sector, so be prepared to build fortifications if you're on defense. Some bunkers can't be destroyed, so knowing which ones are vulnerable can help you set up choke points. The studio also encourages players to make use of small boats for flanking enemies.
This is part of the ongoing War in the Pacific, the latest live content for the game that launched in 2018. DICE has already announced that it plans to launch Battlefield 5 on next-gen consoles as well, so it seems the studio has plans to keep the live game going for a while.
You're going to need an "injector" for this hack to work... I prefer xenos injector but just use whatever injector you feel is suitable for your ego. Once you've injected into Garry's Mod, Press INS on your keyboard to open up the menu.
Undetected on all servers and every anticheat.
*Disclaimer* Don't ask me if you're going to get vac banned from this. You cant get vac banned from garrys mod unless you use something like bacon bot. if you don't know then you don't know.
added hints (to make some stuff easy)
added aimbot keys
changed antiaim names to normal names
PlayStation's Final State Of Play Of 2019 Promises New Game Reveals
PlayStation's final State of Play of 2019 airs on Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 AM PT/9:00 AM ET/2:00 PM GMT. You can watch it live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
Sony is promising around 20 minutes of new game reveals, release date announcements, new gameplay footage, and more. Just don't expect anything related to the company's next-gen plans--it says it's staying tight-lipped for now.
Artwork for a Resident Evil 3 Remake has already leaked on the PlayStation Network, so it would make sense for Capcom's latest to appear officially during next week's State of Play, perhaps with a release date attached. We already know PS4 exclusives The Last of Us Part II and Final Fantasy VII Remake are launching in 2020, but Ghost of Tsushima is less certain. Fans have been clamouring for more from Sucker Punch's samurai action game since it was revealed at E3 2018, so many will be waiting with bated breath to see if it reemerges during the final State of Play of the year.
The timing of this latest episode is curious, though, considering The Game Awards airs a couple of days later on December 12. The annual show is known for its big announcements, and the 2019 edition is set to reveal 10 new games/projects between handing out all of the awards. Show organiser Geoff Keighley says none of the 10 have leaked yet. This rules out the Resident Evil 3 Remake, and it seems unlikely there will be any crossover in reveals between the two shows. Either way, next week should be exciting as 2020's release lineup begins to form.
Osiris stood before a gate into the Infinite Forest.
Two years ago, news had reached him that one of his oldest friends was dead. Saint had been missing for ages, but the Warlock had always assumed the Titan would turn up someday. He was wrong.
He realized he was staring through a dormant gate frame and keyed a cubical device that hung at his belt to pry the doorway open.
He couldn’t save Saint from the Vex. But every day he stood vigil in the Infinite Forest to monitor simulations of the future based on their activity.
Beyond the gate, a shimmering sea of data beckoned him.
He stepped through, into the white maw of an Infinite Forest debug chamber.
“Start it up, Sagira,” he said.
“Sure you don’t want to take a break today?” she asked, unfolding above him like a crown.
“The Vex won’t.”
She considered it a moment, then the Forest shimmered around them and the white maw dimmed to half-darknes
Then pitch black.
The floor fell away, and Osiris’s Light held him aloft, sheathed him in a thin veneer of armor.
Nothing moved. The Warlock frowned, lit a Solar spark and held it up. It illuminated nothing around him. “Did something go wrong with the sequence?”
“I just triple-checked. No,” she replied. “This is it. This is the simulation.”
He keyed his radio.
“Go ahead, Osiris,” Ikora said.
“What’s happening out there?” he replied.
“Take your pick. We’re at war on the Moon again. The Vex attacked.”
“And?”
“We retaliated. The Undying Mind is dead.”
“How?”
“A plan. And mutual friends.”
“Our mutual friends just changed all projected futures in the Infinite Forest.”
“You don’t sound happy about that.”
“I’ll be in touch.” He cut the transmission. “Where are we?” he asked Sagira.
“Where we always are. Simulated Mercury.”
He couldn’t even see stars.
“How far does this void reach?”
“All the way to the Traveler, for all I know.”
“Take us there.”
Osiris knew the simulation moved around him, but the typical shimmer of the Forest was gone. There was nothing to see.
“We’re here,” she confirmed, as he found gravelly purchase under his boots. He had never heard her sound so unsure of herself.
It was brighter here at the top of a windswept dune, but barely. He couldn’t see the sun in the purple twilight that hung above him. The breeze roared in his ears.
The sphere of the Traveler was gone. In its place, an obsidian monolith at least twice the size dominated the sky. In the Last City’s place was a swirling dust storm, tinged purple by the dying light.
“When does this happen?”
“The Forest predictions give a window of two or three decades, depending on a multitude of variables. With a not-insignificant chance for acceleration based on specific elements.”

Video: Rare’s classic postmortem of GoldenEye 007 for the N64
In this 2012 GDC Europe Talk, Martin Hollis shares how his team created GoldenEye 007, the biggest Nintendo 64 release that wasn’t a Mario game.
It was an illuminating look at how a game that started as a Virtua Cop-style on-rails project became an influential first-person shooter that paved the way for similar games (like Halo and Call of Duty) to succeed on consoles.
The information and anecdotes Hollis shared were fascinating, so if you never saw it (or just want to refresh your memory) know that this classic GoldenEye postmortem is now free to watch on the official GDC YouTube channel!
In addition to this presentation, the GDC Vault and its accompanying YouTube channel offers numerous other free videos, audio recordings, and slides from many of the recent Game Developers Conference events, and the service offers even more members-only content for GDC Vault subscribers.
Those who purchased All Access passes to recent events like GDC or VRDC already have full access to GDC Vault, and interested parties can apply for the individual subscription via a GDC Vault subscription page. Group subscriptions are also available: game-related schools and development studios who sign up for GDC Vault Studio Subscriptions can receive access for their entire office or company by contacting staff via the GDC Vault group subscription page.
Fortnite In-Game Audio Test Suggests Epic Is Planning Something Big
Update: Following the strange audio test that could be heard across the map recently in Fortnite, there are now reports a scene from the upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere via an in-game event (thanks, VGC).
This information stems from the Fortnite leaker ShinnaBR, who revealed the “exclusive scene” will be screened at Risky Reels on 14th December and will feature an appearance from the movie’s director J.J. Abrams. Below is a poster of the event:
Since this leak, the poster has also been sighted in-game (via Eurogamer), although Epic has not officially announced the event yet.
As crazy as this may sound, last month Fortnite held a Star Wars crossover event, allowing players to purchase a Stormtrooper skin in the game.
Original Story: Fortnite continues to make headlines. This time it’s in regards to a recent audio message that could be heard in all versions of the game (including Switch) by every player across the map.
Here’s exactly what the brief audio clip said that startled players, repeating: testing, 1, 2, 3. And here’s some video footage, courtesy of the Fortnite leaks and news Twitter account (@HYPEX):
What does all of this mean? There’s speculation it could be tied to an upcoming Risky Reels event or some form of announcement related to The Game Awards. As can be seen in the above clip, the bots in the game also began dancing – suggesting they’re likely involved in whatever Epic has planned.
It’s also been noted how the audio plug-in was the same one used during the Marshmellow event – further suggesting a big event is on the way.
What do you think could be going on? Did you happen to hear this yourself in the game at the time? Comment down below.
