News - Assassin's Creed Shadows Roadmap Includes Major Update, A Parkour Challenge,

Ubisoft has released its roadmap for Assassin's Creed Shadows through to the end of March, showing off the game's next title update, a parkour challenge for players to compete in, and a release date for the game's DLC on Switch 2.

The game's next title update lands on February 17--that's tomorrow--and will introduce three new additions to the game, all of them significant in their own way. The first is a detailed stats page, which can be accessed from the inventory, which will let you dig into all the stats relating to your loadout at a micro level. If you want to examine exactly how much damage you can do, all the buffs you've assigned and really examine your equipment's cumulative effects, this will make doing so much easier.

Critical hits are also getting a visual upgrade. The enemy health bar flashes on a critcal hit now, and animations are a little "snappier", so you'll have a better sense of how often your weapons are doing huge damage.

The Lunar New Year is upon us once again, and Fanatical is celebrating with a gargantuan sale on over 10,000 games, bundles, and DLCs. The Lunar New Year Sale is running from now until February 22, so there's plenty of time to browse the vast catalogue and come away with some of your backlogged games on the cheap. You can even preorder a few upcoming titles with small discounts, and recently released games are even seeing some small price cuts. And if you spend $15 or more, you'll receive a bonus game or coupon with your purchase. With what's on offer here, it'll be pretty easy to hit the $15 threshold.

Some notable highlights from the sale include many of Bethesda's most recent games, like Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition for just $9 (was $40), which comes with the base game and all DLC. Doom: The Dark Ages is 71% off, currently at $20.64 (was $70), while Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Premium Edition is $53 (was $100) and comes with the Order of the Giants story DLC. If you're a fan of survival horror games, Bloober Team's Cronos: The New Dawn is $48 (was $60) for the standard edition. Cronos is a dark, dreary third-person horror shooter akin to titles such as Dead Space and Resident Evil 4, and was one of the best spooky games of 2025. Another notable 2025 release, Silent Hill 2, is down to $52.49 (was $70). It's a modernized, faithful recreation of the PlayStation original that both new and longtime fans can enjoy.

News - Kingdom Come's Current-Gen Version Shadowdrops Today, Included With Game Pass

Kingdom Come: Deliverance's current-gen edition is out now on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, releasing as a shadowdrop (though its existence leaked some time ago).

The new version of the game includes "the level of performance and fidelity the story deserves," developer Warhorse Studios said. This includes up to 60fps support and "enhanced visual fidelity and graphical features" that Warhorse claims makes the game "as immersive, vibrant, and crisp as possible."

People who already own the game for PS4 and Xbox One can get the upgrade for free. The game is on Xbox Game Pass, too, and that version contains the current-gen upgrades. You can check out the trailer above to see the new version of the game in action.
