Here Are Your Nintendo Switch Online NES Games For The Month Of June

Nintendo has announced the three games coming to the Nintendo Switch Online NES service in the month of June. Both North America and Europe will receive Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Volleyball and City Connection. These games will be released on the service on 12th June.

Below are the full details about each title, courtesy of the official PR:

Double Dragon II: The Revenge – Billy and Jimmy Lee, the Double Dragons, are back to avenge the loss of Marian. In their quest to defeat the evil Shadow Warriors, Billy and Jimmy must complete nine missions, facing deadly street gangs, ninjas and huge mutant fighters. Can Billy and Jimmy contend with the enemies placed before them and ultimately save the world?

Volleyball – Enjoy a game of volleyball as you spike for a point, slam a perfect serve and make a save that wins the game for your team. As captain, you’ll lead your team through a fast-paced warm-up round, and then quickly move into the heat of real volleyball competition. The first team to 15 points wins the set, and the first team to win three sets takes the match.

City Connection – After breaking into an exclusive paint store in New York City, you’re on the run from the cops! Carrying leaky 10-gallon cans of paint, drive over every mile of New York City highways before catching a boat to England. From there, you will go on a tour of the world, avoiding the police and leaking paint everywhere you go.

If you’re wondering what Japan will receive this month, it’s the exact same line-up. Here’s the Japanese trailer:

The web the world needs can be ours again, if we want it

The web the world needs can be ours again, if we want it

People everywhere are demanding basic consumer protections.

We want our food to be healthy to eat, our water to be clean to drink, and our air to be safe to breathe.

This year people have started to demand more of the internet as well, however, there persists an expectation that on the internet people are responsible for protecting themselves. You should not have to worry about trading privacy and control in order to enjoy the technology you love. Tech companies have put the onus on people to read through their opaque terms and conditions tied to your data and privacy to use their services. The average privacy policy from a tech company is thousands of words and written at a level that often requires legal training to interpret. As such the vast majority of people don’t bother to read, and just click through these agreements trusting that the companies have their interests at heart.

Apple’s ARKit 3 offers real-time people occlusion and motion capture

WWDC 2019 brought with it a handful of new AR developments from Apple, including an updated version of ARKit that includes better real-time tracking of human bodies in AR.

Apple’s augmented reality-focused ARKit 3 is introducing two big additions this time around, both of which deal with how well ARKit-powered apps can track human movement.

The first, people occlusion, allows people to walk through a space and have AR-based objects remain stationary in front of or behind them as they do so. The other, motion capture, detects a person’s movements in real time and allows those to be used as input into an AR app or game.

Alongside that, Apple also announced the new, high-level framework RealityKit intended to let devs use photo-realistic rendering, camera effects, animations, physics and more in their AR creations as well as a program called Reality Composer to quickly prototype and create AR experiences. Apple’s developer portal has more info on those two additions, as well as other features found in ARKit 3.
