Destiny 2: Where Is Xur This Week? Exotic Items / Location Guide (Oct. 9-13)
We're officially in the final month of Destiny 2's Season of Arrivals, with the Festival of the Lost in full swing. Get the gear you need for the Haunted Forest by visiting Xur to grab some new Exotics. Head to the EDZ, to the Winding Cove area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering The Wardcliff Coil. Hunters can pick up the Wormhusk Crown helmet; for Titans, there's the One-Eyed Mask helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Felwinter's Helm helmet.
Xur Location
You'll find Xur at the northern tip of the Winding Cove area in the EDZ. Climb the cliff and look for the crashed Fallen dropship to find him.
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone and hop on your sparrow, heading north. Make your way to the edge of the area and either climb up or find a cave that will lead you to the cliff above. A crashed Fallen dropship marks the spot where Xur stands and surveys the area.
Python IndentationError: unexpected indent (How to Fix This Stupid Bug)
If you’re like me, you try things first in your code and fix the bugs as they come. One frequent bug in Python is the IndentationError: unexpected indent. So, what does this error message mean?
The error IndentationError: unexpected indent arises if you use inconsistent indentation of tabs or whitespaces for indented code blocks such as the if block and the for loop. For example, Python will throw an indentation error, if you use a for loop with three whitespace characters indentation for the first line, and one tab character indentation of the second line of the loop body. To fix the error, use the same number of empty whitespaces for all indented code blocks.
Let’s have a look at an example where this error arises:
for i in range(10): print(i) print('--')
The first line in the loop body uses two whitespaces as indentation level. The second line in the loop body uses three whitespace characters as indentation level. Thus, the indentation blocks are different for different lines of the same block. However, Python expects that all indented lines have structurally the same indentation.
How to Fix Python’s Indentation Error?
To fix the error, simply use the same number of whitespaces for each line of code:
for i in range(10): print(i) print('--')
The general recommendation is to use four single whitespace characters ' ' for each indentation level. If you have nested indentation levels, this means that the second indentation level has 4+4=8 single whitespace characters:
for i in range(10): for j in range(10): print(i, j)
Mixing Tabs and Whitespace Characters Often Causes The Error
A common problem is also that the indentation seems to be consistent—while it really isn’t. The following code has one tab character in the first line and four empty whitespaces in the second line of the indented code block. They look the same but Python still throws the indentation error.
On first sight the indentation looks the same. However, if you go over the whitespaces before print(i), you see that it consists only of a single tabular character while the whitespaces before the print(j) statement consists of a number of empty spaces ' '.
Try It Yourself: Before I tell you what to do about it, try to fix the code yourself in our interactive Python shell:
Exercise: Fix the code in the interactive code shell to get rid of the error message.

How to Fix The Indentation Error for All Times?
The source of the error is often the misuse of tabs and whitespace characters. In many code editors, you can set the tab character to a fixed number of whitespace characters. This way, you essentially never use the tabular character itself. For example, if you have the sublime text editor, the following quick tutorial will ensure that you never run in this error ever again:
Set Sublime Text to use tabs for indentation: View –> Indentation –> Convert Indentation to Tabs
Uncheck option Indent Using Spaces in the same sub-menu above.

PCUI — UI Framework Powering PlayCanvas Engine Open Sourced
Yesterday PCUI, an open source UI framework for creating game tools and other web applications, was open sourced. PCUI is named as such because it is the UI layer powering the battle tested PlayCanvas game engine. It provides over a dozen controls, as well as implementing logic such as the Observer pattern for making binding your UI to your data. PCUI is open source under the liberal MIT license with the source code available on GitHub.
Details from the PlayCanvas blog:
Today, PlayCanvas is launching PCUI: a new, open source front-end framework for the web.
PCUI is designed with tools developers in mind. It is particularly well suited to building viewer and editor applications, providing a rich set of beautiful and consistent controls. It already powers the PlayCanvas Editor – the world’s most powerful WebGL production tool.
Here you can see tree controls, panels, buttons, checkboxes, toolbars, menus and more. The Editor also relies on PCUI’s observer system, that makes it easy to synchronize the state of your application’s UI with that of the underlying data. Plus, it has a built-in support for history to make implementing redo/undo a breeze.
In addition to the PlayCanvas game engine, PCUI is used to power the PlayCanvas GLTF viewer project as well, a project which is open source and shows you a real-world example of using PCUI in a TypeScript application. PCUI is also extremely well documented with several examples available. If you are interested in learning more about PlayCanvas be sure to check out two part tutorial. You can learn more about the PCUI release in the video below.
Apple may offer iPad Air shipment date during ‘Hi, Speed’ event
Apple may use Tuesday’s “Hi, Speed” event to tell potential buyers of the new iPad Air when they can purchase the tablet, weeks after the company launched the model during its “Time Flies” event.
During the first “Time Flies” special event on September 15, Apple introduced a redesigned iPad Air, but aside from telling customers it would be available sometime in October, an exact date wasn’t offered during the presentation. With the second Apple event looming, it is suggested Apple may advise of when the tablet will actually go on sale.
According to serial leaker Jon Prosser on Twitter, Apple “will give you the launch date of iPad Air during the October 13th event.” Given the lack of date from Apple itself for its release, it seems plausible a public event will include an update on shipment dates.
Apple will give you the launch date of iPad Air during the October 13th event.
While even at this stage it is unclear when the tablet will go on sale, other reports suggest it could take place soon. One report from October 9 claimed shipments of new Apple products that included the iPad Air were arriving at Apple stores, but were marked for opening at a later date.
The iPad Air 4 was upgraded to an iPad Pro-like design, with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display, an edge-to-edge design, and USB-C. The Home button’s removal meant Touch ID has migrated to the power button, with the tablet powered by the A14 Bionic processor.
When it ships, the new iPad Air will cost $599 and $749 for the 64GB and 256GB Wi-FI models, $729 and $879 for the respective cellular versions.

Jurassic Park Camp Cretaceous Season 2 Trailer Keeps The Kids In Danger
Netflix's Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous is the rare kids' show where you know going in that there's a high likelihood of children being eaten alive by dinosaurs--so it goes in Jurassic Park. The semi-new Netflix series recently launched its first season on the streaming service not long ago on September 18, and has just released a trailer for Season 2, due to kick off sometime in 2021. You can check it out below.
As the trailer shows, despite all rational thought, people keep coming back to the islands inhabited by dinosaurs. Season 1 established the show's world, in which "six teens invited to attend a state-of-the-art adventure camp in Isla Nublar must band together to survive when the dinosaurs break out of captivity."
According to a release, Season 2 will further chronicle how these total strangers progress from friends to family in the name of survival--but details beyond that are sparse.

How Microsoft is embracing a flexible workplace
Over the past few months, we have learned so much about productivity, flexibility, resilience and compassion. We have been working in ways we never thought possible, including managing necessary safety precautions, learning to connect with small or large teams while presenting to a screen, taking care of family and friends while being in the next room on calls, adjusting hours to address new demands and so much more. And I am deeply empathetic that this is on top of navigating the emotional toll of all that we are witnessing and experiencing.
At the same time, the pandemic has raised questions about what our employees can expect in the future, so we provided some guidance this week to employees on our thinking about work flexibility. Moving forward, it is our goal to offer as much flexibility as possible to support individual workstyles, while balancing business needs and ensuring we live our culture.
Flexibility can mean different things to each of us, and we recognize there is no one-size-fits-all solution given the variety of roles, work requirements and business needs we have at Microsoft. To address this, we have provided guidance to employees to make informed decisions around scenarios that could include changes to their work site, work location, and/or work hours once offices are open without any COVID-19 restrictions. Our step-by-step guidance includes considerations like office space, salary and benefits, local law, personal taxes, expenses and more.
Our guidance includes:
Work site (the physical space where you work, e.g. office, center, home, mobile): We recognize that some employees are required to be onsite and some roles and businesses are better suited for working away from the worksite than others. However, for most roles, we view working from home part of the time (less than 50%) as now standard – assuming manager and team alignment.
Work hours (the hours and days when employees work, e.g. workday start and end times, full- or part-time): Work schedule flexibility is now considered standard for most roles. While part-time continues to be subject to manager approval, our guidance is meant to facilitate an open conversation between a manager and employee regarding considerations.
Work location (the geographic location where you work, e.g. city and country): Similarly the guidance is there for managers and employees to discuss and address considerations such as role requirements, personal tax, salary, expenses, etc.
Our guidance is to help employees plan ahead for the future. For now, returning to many of our offices around the world is still optional for employees, except for essential onsite roles. While we’ve shared that we will challenge long-held assumptions and seek to be on the forefront of what is possible leveraging technology, we have also communicated that we are not committing to having every employee work from anywhere, as we believe there is value in employees being together in the workplace.
We will continue to evolve our approach to flexibility over time as we learn more.
