New To Netflix This Week: Movies, TV, And Originals (US)
<p>Every week, the video streaming giant Netflix releases plenty of content for its subscribers, and it can be a bit hard to keep up with. Luckily, we have a breakdown of what's coming this week and what to keep your eye on.</p><p>The most notable movie coming to Netflix this week is the 2004 Edgar Wright zombie satire Shaun of the Dead on December 1. Simon Pegg stars as the titular Shaun, who is trying to win back his ex-girlfriend in the midst of the zombie apocalypse. The movie has a huge cult following, and although it pokes fun at zombie horror, it's also one of the best films in that genre.</p><p>The Last Dragon also comes to Netflix on December 1. The 1985 movie follows "Bruce" Leroy Green, a martial artist in New York City, who wants to be come as good as his idol, Bruce Leroy. He wants to become a true martial arts master and obtain "the glow," but standing in his way is the Shogun of Harlem, Sho'nuff, who sees Leroy as an obstacle on his path to also becoming a master. It's a very '80s but very fun movie, and almost everything Sho'nuff says is highly quotable, coming in at the tail end of America's '80s obsession with martial arts.</p><p>And although it came out late last week, I highly recommend watching Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Gauntlet, which is essentially the second season of the series on Netflix.
