Just last weekend, Capcom revealed Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness – an upcoming Netflix anime CG series. Now, following on from this, we’ve got our first proper look at the new Monster Hunter movie.
This brief teaser trailer shows Milia Jovovich (best-known as Alice in the Resident Evil films) and co, facing off against a large demon-like creature that looks like it’s been pulled straight from the DOOM or Diablo series. To be fair, the IGN description does make mention of Diablos:

As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.
Monster Hunter, directed by Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil’s Paul W.S. Anderson, is based on the global video game series phenomenon.
While the Monster Hunter film was originally set to make its debut this year on 4th September, Sony ended up pushing it back. Its date has now been moved from 23rd April 2021 to this December.
