Snoop Dogg Developing New Animated Comedy Series At Amazon
<p>Snoop Dogg has been animated in the past into such shows as King of the Hill, but <a href="https://deadline.com/2020/11/oaklandia-snoop-dogg-vince-vaughn-amazon-animated-comedy-1234618434/">Deadline</a> is reporting that the entrepreneur is looking to develop one of his own: Oaklandia. Snoop will serve as a voice actor as well as executive producer alongside Vince Vaughn.</p><p>The new Amazon animated series is written by Daniel Dominguez (Michael B. Jordan's Gen: Lock) and Chris "Comedian CP" Powell (Detroiters). The show will be set in Oakland, and at the time of this writing, that's all we know about the show.</p><p>Oaklandia will be Amazon's latest entry of adult-animated programming. Earlier this year, it ordered Fairfax, a series based on the phenomenon of Los Angeles hypebeast streetwear culture, from Matt Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley.
