Konami Announces Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel Is In Development For Switch
Yuga Ohdo – the protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS
At Jump Fiesta 2021 Online this weekend, Konami announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel was in development for the Switch.
This latest take on the card game series first appeared in Japan alongside the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime earlier this year, and is the seventh Yu-Gi-Oh! show. Gematsu provides a little extra insight about what players can expect from the Switch version:
Players can Normal Summon any number of monsters from their hand in one turn, as well as draw until at least five cards are in their hand.
In the Switch game, players will be able to battle against the characters that appear in the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime.
The anime itself hasn’t even been localised yet, although a trademark for an English version was filed in June this year. If this goes ahead, perhaps the Switch game will follow.

Call Of Duty: Warzone Update Coming Soon, Full Patch Notes Revealed
Co-developer Raven Software will deploy a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S soon that re-enables the recently removed XP tokens players were saving up. The patch notes are outlined below.
All XP tokens earned prior to the start of Season 1 are now usable in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. However, any tokens acquired during Season 1 and beyond will only work in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. From this point forward, XP tokens--which are used to help players level up faster--can't be used in Modern Warfare's multiplayer.
Players were saving their XP tokens to level up the Black Ops Cold War weapons that just hit Warzone. This includes the Groza Assault Rifle and Mac-10 submachine gun.
Random: Nintendo Extracts Customer’s Missing Wedding Ring From Their Wii U
A Twitter user has shared a story about Nintendo repairing a Wii U that had a missing wedding ring lodged in it.
User @sam_nama explains how their daughter put the ring in it – treating the system as if it was a piggy bank. Obviously, it didn’t work out and the console had to be sent to Nintendo for repair.
Upon return, it was discovered Nintendo had gone to the extent of cleaning the ring. How considerate! The Wii U was fixed, too. So, there you go – another funny Nintendo repair story. We’re just glad to hear the ring has been reunited with its owner.

Sony removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, promises refunds
The drama over Cyberpunk 2077 has taken an unprecedented new turn. Sony has announced that it is removing Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store, and will offer refunds for players who’ve purchased the game.
The news comes from a blog post that could win an award for most buried lede of 2020. In a decade of digitally selling games on the store, Sony has yet to take down a large, high-profile title like Cyberpunk2077, let alone offer refunds for a specific game.
CD Projekt Red had previously said players could seek refunds for the game, but did not indicate any special arrangement with Sony or Xbox that would allow refunds to be possible.
Update: CD Projekt has issued a statement to investors regarding Sony’s decision. It doesn’t add much, only that the company plans to continue support for players who still own the game.
“The decision was undertaken following our discussion with [Sony Interactive Entertainment] regarding a full refund for all gamers who had purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund at this time. All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers.
“Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail order stores. All copies, whether digital or physical, will continue to receive support and updates from [CD Projekt Red.]”

CD Projekt hasn’t discussed removing Cyberpunk from Xbox platforms
CD Projekt chief executive Adam Kicinski has suggested Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be pulled from the Microsoft Store.
The long-awaited RPG launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in pretty rough shape, with a huge number of players encountering bugs and crashes on last-gen consoles.
The decision has left many wondering whether Cyberpunk would meet a similar fate on Xbox platforms, but in a statement handed to Reuters, Kicinski said the company isn’t in “such discussions with Microsoft at the moment” — suggesting the title has been granted at least temporary amnesty on Xbox platforms.
“We ignored the signals about the need for additional time to refine the game on the base last-gen consoles,” said Kicinski during a conference call. “It was the wrong approach and against our business philosophy. On top of that, during the campaign, we showed the game mostly on PCs.
“This caused the loss of gamers’ trust and the reputation that we’ve been building through a big part of our lives. That’s why our first steps are solely focused on regaining those two things. We are concentrated on fixing Cyberpunk on last-gen consoles.”
