@WaffleBoat I think it’s one of the best sonic games we have gotten since generations (which isn’t hard to do to be fair) the sound track goes hard and while it has issues, it’s a vary solid game! And if you don’t enjoy the controls there are lots of way to adjust his speed, and control. Story wise this is one of sonics best, it’s not some masterpiece or anything but it’s a good story with good writing!
Now this game isn’t without its issues, the biggest one is the pop in because of how quickly sonic moves, and a lot of rails are just awkwardly placed in the air, glitch wise I don’t remember running into any.
But, the game is getting this free dlc so I would say it’s more than worth it.
If your not a fan of sonic games, then this game probably won’t change your mind on him, if you have never played one before, then this is a good first jump into the world of sonic. And like others have said it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a good game. saying this just in case I made it sound this way, I just really enjoy the game.
