A Vampire Survivors animated show is in the works

Game developer Poncle is partnering with the incredible team at Story Kitchen to create a Vampire Survivors animated show. After becoming the highest-rated game on Steam in 2022 and beating out Elden Ring to win Best Game at the 2023 BAFTA Gaming Awards, Vampire Survivors is out to conquer the small screen.

Story Kitchen is a new media company founded by two huge names in Hollywood – John Wick creator and writer Derek Kolstad and co-producer of the Sonic movies Dmitri Johnson. The team is already working on various game-to-tv adaptations including Tomb Raider and Splinter Cell for Netflix, and It Takes Two for Amazon.

Poncle and Story Kitchen are also working alongside games consulting agency Robot Teddy. Director of Business Development at Robot Teddy Alessandro Bovenzi said, “Collaborating with Poncle on Vampire Survivors has been a coffin-load of fun. And now, with Story Kitchen on board, we’re thrilled to be adding even more depth to the world of the undead.”

Founder of Poncle Luca Galante added, “The most important thing in Vampire Survivors is the story, so it’s a dream come true to see what started as a little indie game I made on my weekends come to life as an animated TV show! It’s also great to be partnering up with such experienced and talented people to make the show.”

When is the Vampire Survivors animated show release date?

As Story Kitchen have only just announced the project, there is no official release date yet for the Vampire Survivors animated show. We’ll update this page as soon as we know when and where the show will come out.

Neural Cloud tier list and reroll guide

Welcome to our Neural Cloud tier list, where we rank all the best units to summon, upgrade, and battle with in this fresh sci-fi strategy gacha card game. Dividing characters by class, along with early and end game content, this guide sets out to help you build up your ultimate team of butt-kicking waifus (and the occasional husbando). And, if you don’t get the gals you want, we’ve also included a Neural Cloud reroll guide for your convenience.

For some handy freebies to give you an extra boost in this fantastical waifu world, check out our Neural Cloud codes. Or, you can head over to our Sword Art Online VS tier list, AFK Arena tier list, or our guide to the best gacha games for even more gacha goodness.

Neural Cloud tier list

This data is based on both our personal experiences and community rankings from the English CBT, and only covers the characters’ talents in PvE content. We’ll add a PvP tier list or adjust the rankings for overall gameplay in the future.

A massive shoutout goes to this comprehensive spreadsheet created by members of the Neural Cloud Official Discord, which played a big part in our rankings, and offers great advice for team building under the ‘general info’ tab. Be sure to join the Discord for even more guides, handy tips, and game-related discussions.

We’ve split the tier list into roles, and each role has a unique early game and end game tier list. This is due to the fact that certain characters improve as you progress through the game, while others don’t have as many powerful upgrades and struggle against the harder content you face later in the game.

How do I perform a Neural Cloud reroll?

If you don’t get the characters you want the first time around, you can perform a Neural Cloud reroll. The reroll process takes around 20 minutes each time, so keep that in mind before making your decision.

Neural Cloud reroll steps

Begin by launching Neural Cloud. You can start by selecting ‘play as guest’, though this requires you to wipe your data or uninstall and reinstall the game each reroll.

Alternatively, we recommend signing up to a Sunborn account each time you want to reroll by entering your email with a plus sign and a number after it. For example, [email protected], [email protected], etc. This tricks the system into thinking that it’s a new email address each time, while still sending the verification code to your usual email address inbox.

Next, proceed to the following steps:

  • Play through the tutorial (around 15 minutes) and finish chapter 1-1
  • Go to your inbox and claim your rewards (including 20 free pulls), then redeem our Neural Cloud codes
  • Head to the gacha section and hit ‘Neural Search’ to start summoning

If you’re happy with your pulls, continue to play the game. If not, return to the title screen and switch to a new Sunborn account, then repeat the steps above.

That’s all we’ve got in our Neural Cloud tier list and reroll guide. We’ll update this page as new characters, balances, and units crop up. In the meantime, head over to our list of the best mobile MMORPGs or the best Switch RPGs to find your next adventure.

Pet Master free spins – daily links

Pet Master is a slots adventure by the makers of Coin Master. Much like in its predecessor, you spin slots to earn gold, which you then spend on village upgrades. Except, in Pet Master, you build a ‘pet camp’ instead of a village, and your overarching goal is to take over the pet kingdom, presumably.

Really, though, it’s a largely identical experience to Coin Master, except the theme is pets. You’ll visit different animal-themed worlds, collect a wide variety of cards, and spin the slots machine a borderline unhealthy number of times. This brings us nicely to the purpose of this guide: to provide you with a bunch of Pet Master free spins.

Much like our Coin Master free spins guide, this article will provide you with daily links for free spins, coins, and more goodies. These are official links provided by developer Moon Active, so you don’t have to worry about getting banned for cheating or potentially opening up your device to harmful viruses. So, let’s take a look at the latest links.

How else can I get free spins?

While the above links are the easiest method of getting free spins, coins, and more in Pet Master, there are additional ways you can get free stuff detailed below.

Spin

Let’s get the obvious out of the way first: you can get pretty much everything you can possibly need by spinning. You’ll need spins to, errr, spin, of course, but we’d recommend doing so as often as possible.

When you run out of spins, you can return after an hour to spin five more times. This caps out at 50 spins, so you will want to return at least every ten hours to ensure you’re not wasting any free spins. Set yourself a reminder.

Our final caveat is that you can activate a bet multiplier when you have a ton of spins available, which uses more spins but also increases your winnings. Use it whenever possible.

Raccoons from Pet Master

Socialise

One of the fastest ways to get free spins in Pet Master is to invite your friends. While the number of spins you can get for free if a friend successfully signs up varies, it’s usually a substantial number. Right now it’s at 90 spins, which is very generous indeed.

Complete your village

So what do you spend all of that hard-earned cash on? Village upgrades, of course! Not only do you receive spins for completing a village, but you can also receive them as rewards from ‘Village Rush’. This event provides you with rewards for achieving certain village levels.

Roll the dice

Once you’ve unlocked the board, we recommend rolling your dice as often as you can. The rewards vary per board, but there are free spins, dice, and coins up for grabs.

Complete albums and card sets

You get an astonishing number of free spins for completing an album, and a respectable amount for finishing card sets. So, spend all of your excess cash (if you have any) on chests in order to unlock more cards.

You can also trade excess cards with friends within the app itself, which can help speed this up immeasurably.

Participate in events

Events are a fantastic method of getting yourself some free spins, and Pet Master runs an awful lot of them. While they vary, a typical event simply challenges you to match three event tokens together on the slot machine, then rewards you for getting a certain number within a time limit. Save your spins for these events, folks!

Finger on the App 2 guide: tips and tricks to win

January 3, 2020: Mr Beast has postponed Finger on the App 2 until February 19

What is Finger on the App? The game has quite a simple premise, really – touch your phone longer than anyone else. That becomes a lot harder when you factor in all the other competition. Finger on the App is interesting since it’s a one time game. So you get one shot to win the grand prize and walk away victorious. But popular philanthropist YouTuber Mr Beast has now announced Finger on the App 2, developed by Beast Interactive Games, with an even bigger prize pool.

As opposed to last time, players can now buy lives, but also earn them in a new battle mode before the main game begins. So here we’re going to give you some tips to make the most of the competition – whether it’s staying healthy during, or in playing the game itself. Because after the first one lasted for 70 hours, it’s likely this could be pretty lengthy, too.

Though the prize is likely to go to someone who is buying lives, everyone still has a limit of three when it actually comes down to playing the game.

everything you need to know about finger on the app 2:

what is finger on the app 2?

Finger on the App 2 isn’t your typical mobile game, but is instead a  massive multiplayer experience available in the U.S, Canada, and Mexico. As opposed to last time, players can use both Android and iOS devices. The aim of the game is to stay touching the screen as long as possible, and the last one still touching it will win the grand prize.

when does finger on the app 2 begin?

The game starts on February 19, 2021. Just make sure to have the app open and that you’re ready to go by that time if you want to play.

what’s the prize?

As opposed to the $25,000 prize for the first game, Mr Beast has increased the amount to $100,000. The contest is also sponsored by the multiplayer game, Lords Mobile: Kingdom Wars. Last time the prize was supposed to be decided by a player poll – until Mr Beast just gave a prize to the final four players. But it seems like that poll has been removed this time around.

Finger on the App 2 life screen

How to download finger on the app 2

Finger on the App 2 can be downloaded on the App Store, or for Android on Mr Beast’s app website.

how to play finger on the app 2

The aim of the game is simple – keep touching the screen – but there are some other aspects that are important to remember. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Keep touching the screen at all times, moving your finger into merged circles that say ‘touch’
  • You can see where you are touching because the circles merge around that point
  • Your lives and the time elapsed can be seen at the top of the screen. You only have a maximum of three
  • You can earn cookies to buy lives in battle mode, going head to head with another opponent and trying to outlast them (though this mode doesn’t work just yet)

how do i get extra lives in finger on the app 2?

The amount of lives you have is important when playing, so here’s what you can do to get your hands on some extras:

  • You can buy lives in Finger on the App 2, with one for $2.99, two for $4.99, and three for $6.99. This money goes into the prize pool
  • You can play battle mode to earn cookies with which you purchase lives. As mentioned, battle mode doesn’t work yet, so keep an eye out for it coming online

what’s to stop people cheating?

Cheating was a concern in the original Finger on the App, but at numerous points in the 70 hour competition Mr Beast and MSCHF added in surprise changes to the touching pattern which threw off any bots that were playing. In the end, no bots won the competition.

Finger on the App 2 life purchase screen

tips and tricks

With no time limit on the game, if you want to get far, and maybe even win, you’re going to have to take some real-life things into consideration. It’s important to stay healthy and hydrated during, though sleep might be somewhat impossible. Here are some tips to stay on your game:

  • Stay hydrated: Make sure you have a good deal of water nearby to drink during the game – a caffeinated beverage to hand probably wouldn’t go amiss
  • You gotta eat: Snacks are a fundamental pillar of gaming, and this is no different. Make sure you have some to hand, but also keep some fruit nearby for that natural sugar boost
  • Don’t go crazy: There are always some people who take things to the extreme, and good on them, someone’s got to. But these games go on for an absurd amount of time, so bear in mind real life commitments
  • Have a phone charger nearby: Nothing would be worse than running out of battery during the game, so have a charger ready and to hand
  • Make plans for doing necessary things: There are some things, that you just have to do, especially if you’re in this for the long haul, so perhaps devise a way that you can keep playing while doing those things
  • Play with a friend: if you’re determined to get real serious with the game, get a friend to play with you, so you can play in shifts and stay sharp
  • Turn off Siri: loads of streamers lost the competition last time as they were tricked into opening Siri by reading out subscriber names, so if you don’t want to get trolled this time, best turn off those voice commands

who won the first finger on the app?

After 70 hours of play, and over 1.3 million players, Finger on the App concluded. A number of people won different amounts of money, with Mr Beast bribing some to leave the game for $10,000, and in the end he stopped the game and gave all four remaining players $20,000.

The 70 hours were also filled with plenty of other hilarious happenings – whether it was MrBeast calling contestants to try and catch them out, or the evil yet hilarious people who tricked streamers into calling up Siri on their phones – be warned of swears in the video.

Nintendo has added cosy AR cabins to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Nintendo has announced that it is adding AR features to its long-standing AC mobile game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. These two new modes – called AR Camera and AR Cabin – let players spend some quality time with their favourite villagers. The first, AR Camera, lets you set up a space for your pal, adding furniture to the scene, and taking a snapshot. AR Cabin, on the other hand, is a little more comprehensive, and lets you enter the same space as the characters.

You can turn this AR Cabin into a cosy hideaway, and overlay the door anywhere in the real world, allowing you to enter whenever you want. Once in your cabin, you can invite up to eight of your favourite villagers to hang out in the space. In celebration of this new mode, Nintendo are also giving away a free month of the Furniture and Fashion plan, which is a great way to get some new clothes and home decorations.

For those unfamiliar, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp first launched three years ago, and is Nintendo’s free-to-start mobile game. In Pocket Camp you build a campsite and invite friends to come stay. You can also visit different locations, catch bugs, fish, and pick fruit. It isn’t as comprehensive as New Horizons, but it’s still a fun on-the-go experience for any AC fan.

If you want to know more about the AR features, check out the release trailer below:

AR Cabin and AR Camera launched on November 19, and are available in-game now.

If you want to play Pocket Camp for yourself, you can find it on Google Play and the App Store. For more relaxing recommendations, why not see our list of the best mobile idle games?
